Indie/ Synthpop "it" girl Little Boots is one of the big breakout female artists of 2009 (along with Florence and the Machine). Her stuff is a bit to Lady Gagaish for me...but it sure is catchy. I can't see her staying under the "indie" label for long though, her stuff is made more for the mainstream market. Her newest single "Earthquake" is like Kate Nash's "Foundations" set to an electropop back drop.
